Ingredients:
- 1 kilo baby octopus, rinsed and cleaned well
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup of vinegar
- ¼ cup of water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 3 bay leaves
- 3 tsp. vegetable oil
- 1 medium size onion, thinly sliced
- Optional: Garnish: chopped green onion
- Rinse well the octopus.
- In a bowl; combine all garlic, vinegar, water, soy sauce, sugar, salt, pepper and bay leaves.
- Marinate squid/octopus 1/2 hour.
- In a pan heat the cooking oil over medium high heat, then saute onions.
- Mix in the squid/octopus with marinade. Continue to cook on medium high heat until no juices remain, about 10-15 minutes. Do not overcook.
- Optional: Garnish with green onion.
- Serve hot, share and enjoy
