A Father's Day Special home cooked ADOBONG BABOY


Adobong Baboy
For all those dads out there Happy Father's day, This is our day so let us cook a Filipino Favorite Dish Called Adobo, Adobo can be cooked using Chicken or Pork Meat. I'll be cooking this for my kids every time that they ask for it, Kids love adobo especially with a bit o sweetness in it. In this Adobo we will use Pork Meat, to begin we will need this.

Ingredients :
  • 1/4 cup canola oil or olive oil
  • 3 tbsp.  garlic minced
  • 1 kilo pork
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground pepper
  • 10ml of Soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water1/2 cup vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Sugar

Cooking Procedures :

1.       Heat oil in a pan. put the garlic and toast until lightly brown. Set aside.
2.       In a bowl, combine pork with salt, pepper, garlic, 3 tbsp sugar and soy sauce.
3.       Marinate for 15-20 minutes in the refrigerator.
4.       In a saucepan, put in the marinated pork with the marinade, water, and vinegar.
5.       Bring to a boil then simmer for about 15mins. Cook meat for 30 minutes or until sauce is thick and oily.
6.       Remove from heat. Serve with HOT RICE
