Nilagang Baboy

Nilagang Baboy
Nilaga (literally means 'boiled') can be either pork or beef just as long as you use the boney parts with some meat bits in them with vegetables. This is very easy to make just throw everything in the pot and let the meat cook until tender.

Stew is Filipino cuisine. The synonym of the word stew is boiled. In the manufacture of stew, the meat and vegetables are placed in boiling water and cooked in low heat. There is usually no broth except the juice of its ingredients. It is also called kosido (Spanish: cocido) because it is a type of Filipino food inherited from the Spaniards. But different from cosmetics, the stewed Filipinos do not have the method of curing

It is not just Beef that you could cook as a Nilaga, Pork meat can be also used for Nilaga dish with a twist, first you'll need the pork meat rinsed and cut into pieces, next you'll need some potatoes peeled and cut according to you're style, don't forget to include pechay.
