Ingredients:
2-3 cups green monggo
6-8 cups water or more (depending on the monggo)
1/2 kilo pork meat (cut into cubes) or pork ribs (cut into serving size)
1 medium ginger, peeled and minced
1 bundle of Ampalaya leaves (bitter gourd)
Salt to taste
HOW TO COOK:
1. wash green monggo
2. Wash the Pork meat with running water on a strainer and cut into cubes.
3. Add the water, green monggo, ginger and pork meat to a pot.
4. Boil for about 30-45 minutes or until beans are tender.
5. Season with salt.
6. A minute before rmoving from the heat, put-in the ampalaya leaves.
7. Serve with steamed white rice. Enjoy!
