Fish soup with Veggies (Bisugo/Threadfin Bream)

In this fish soup recipe, we will use Threadfin Bream (Bisugo). This time it will have a lot of hot soup for the rainy season and is good for some who don't like meat very much. All I can say about this fish dish is that my family loves it. That's why every time I have a chance of seeing a Bisugo in the
fish stall in the market I usually buy a kilo or 2.

Ingredients:

    1-kilo Bisugo (Threadfin Bream)
    10 pieces string beans
    4 pc tomatoes
    2 pc onion (sliced)
    1 thumb size ginger (sliced)
1 pc siling haba (green chili)
    salt & pepper to taste
    4-5 cups of water

Procedure:

First of all, we need to clean the fish, brush off its scale, drain water and set aside after cleaning.

  1. In a large pot, add some 5cups of water and let boil.
  2. Add the sliced onion and the sliced ginger simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the 1-kilo Bisugo (Threadfin Bream) let it boil for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add the tomatoes and siling haba (green chili)
  5. Add some salt to taste.
  6. Remove from heat, transfer to a serving bowl.
  7. Serve hot, share and enjoy!
