Sinabawang Isda (Skipjack Fish + Veggies)


A Fish dish that is healthy!

This dish is for all those who love fish + vegetables, and for some that are tire of eating pork, chicken, and beef meat.

Sometimes we all need to take a break from that kind of foods so here we are. Let's try one of this fish dish before we proceed we will need this ingredient.


 Ingredients
  • 1/2 kilo of Skipjack fish (Gulyasan) Sliced
  • 2 to 4 cups fresh kamote tops
  • 1 knob ginger, sliced into thin pieces
  • 3 medium sized tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 medium sized red onion, sliced
  • Malunggay leaves
  • 3 pcs green chilli
  • 2-4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
 Instructions
  1. Pour water in a cooking pan.Let boil.
  2. Put-in the tomatoes, ginger, and onion. Cover and boil for 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Add the fresh skipjack fish . Cover and cook for 10 minutes in medium heat.
  4. Stir-in the salt, 3 pcs green chilli, malungay leaves and add the kamote tops. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve with hot rice.
  6. Share and enjoy!
